Job summary

Woods Machinery in Freehold, NJ is seeking a Yard Coordinator to join our hands-on team. The Yard Coordinator's duties include loading and unloading trucks, ensuring accuracy in receipt of goods, and maintaining the general cleanliness of both the yard and service areas.

They also assist customers during equipment drop-offs and pickups. Responsibilities include verifying incoming deliveries, preparing packing slips and BOLs, and supporting Service/Rental teams in machine prep for sale, rental,

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience with earthmoving equipment, excavators, loaders and related attachments.
• Familiar with proper loading and securing methods of loaders and excavators.
• Equipment Rental experience desired.
• Familiar with shipping and receiving, BOLs and OS&D documentation.
• High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service.
• Computer literate with PC/Mainframe applications.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.
• Willing to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload shipments of whole goods and parts orders and place all deliveries in assigned location.
• Load outgoing orders on customer trailers or LTL trucks.
• Display new equipment neatly for sales displays and secure.
• Rotate front displays with various equipment and attachments.
• Assist bi-weekly whole goods audits with Branch Manager.
• Verify incoming deliveries by checking packing slips and BOL.
• Provide delivery paperwork to Branch Manager for receiving.
• Assist Service and Rental in prepping machines for sale, rental, or demo.
• Maintain cleanliness of yard and service areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

Yard Coordinator

is seeking aYard Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our Freehold, NJ location. The Yard Coordinator's duties encompass a range of tasks, including but not limited to loading and unloading trucks, ensuring accuracy in receipt of goods, and maintaining the general cleanliness of both the yard and service areas. Additionally, they play a crucial role in assisting customers during equipment drop-offs and pickups.

Job Responsibilities:

• Unload shipments of whole good and parts orders and place all deliveries in assigned location.
• Load any outgoing orders on customer trailers or LTL trucks.
• Display new equipment in a neat and orderly manner for sales displays and secure.
• Rotate front sales displays as needed with various equipment or attachments and secure.
• Assist in conducting bi-weekly whole goods audits in conjunction with Branch Manager.
• Verify all incoming deliveries for accuracy by checking packing slips and bill of ladings.
• Provide all whole good delivery paperwork (packing slips/BOL) to the Branch Manager to be processed for receiving.
• Provide all delivery paperwork (packing slips/BOL) for any parts deliveries to the Branch Manager to be processed for receiving.
• Monitor and verify all incoming/outgoing internal vehicles to ensure proper whole goods/parts items are being transported.
• Assist Service and Rental Departments in prepping machines for sale, rental, or demo. This includes but not limited to power washing the exterior of the machine, cleaning the cab, as well as inbound and outbound inspections of equipment.
• Maintain the general cleanliness of the yard and service areas.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience with earthmoving equipment, excavators, loaders and related attachments
• Familiar with proper loading and securing methods of loaders and excavators
