Job summary

Cisco Equipment is seeking a Yard Coordinator to join our growing team. The role focuses on operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring loading and unloading is handled with care and efficiency, while maintaining a clean, organized yard.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, can read and write English, and bring two or more years of heavy construction equipment experience. Forklift certification is preferred or a certification course will be required.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical ability, analytical thinking, and good organizational skills.
• Experience with heavy construction equipment and material handling is preferred.
• Forklift certification or certification course is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of heavy equipment on trucks.
• Keep the equipment yard clean and maintained.
• Maintain a professional appearance appropriate for the position.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

Personal skills must include mechanical ability, analytical thinking, and work organization. This position requires knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures, heavy construction/farm and material handling equipment, repair methods and records. This individual must have the ability to prioritize the work to be done and focus on it, possess a high sense of urgency, to be thorough with the work being done, to offer his/her best knowledge of the situation to be used, project integrity and credibility to the company.

• Must have the ability to oversee loading and unloading of heavy equipment on trucks.
• Must be willing to keep an equipment yard clean and maintained.
• Must maintain a well-groomed professional appearance appropriate for the position.
• Performing any other duties as may be required

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to read and write English
• Two or more years’ experience in heavy construction equipment; preferred
• Must be forklift certified or pass a certification course

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing, squatting, bending, or stetting.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times
• Must be able to pass a WorkSteps exam (fit for duty) and pre-employment drug screening
