Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred for yard duties.
• 3+ years in the construction industry preferred.
• Experience with equipment shipping/receiving.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to oversee yard operations.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assigns day-to-day work to Yard employees and assists with daily duties.
• Ensure yard is in safe, organized condition and that safety policies are followed.
• Directs yard operations and attends weekly safety meetings.
• Assists customers by loading orders and inspecting returned equipment.
• Performs daily forklift inspections and maintains yard cleanliness.
• Identify TBR/DBR fleet and communicate with Yard Manager.
