Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Yard Foreman in Illinois to maintain an orderly yard, supervise loading/unloading, and manage equipment storage. You will lead yard staff, enforce safety policies, and ensure high service levels for walk-in customers.

The role requires a high school diploma and 3+ years in construction, plus knowledge of equipment safety and maintenance. Travel and weekend work may be required; a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus 3+ years in the construction industry preferred.
• Demonstrated use of tools and equipment.
• Clear understanding of equipment utilization and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assigns day-to-day work to Yard employees.
• Assists Yard employees in daily duties.
• Ensures that the yard is in good safe working order.
• Directs Yard employees in daily yard operations.
• Assists customers by offering a high level of customer service.
• Performs daily inspections for yard forklifts.
• Inspects returned equipment for damage during the rental period.
• Maintains yard organization and cleanliness.
