Job summary

The Yardman in Illinois is responsible for the safe operation and handling of heavy-duty industrial equipment in the yard, including RTGs and heavy-capacity forklifts. You will load and unload trucks, move equipment, and rig materials with finished products.

We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. A High School Diploma or GED and 3-5 years of heavy equipment experience are required, along with safety trainings and the ability to read service manuals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of heavy equipment operation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret parts and service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate cranes and yard equipment to load/unload trucks.
• Rig materials and move equipment as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized yard and return equipment to proper locations.
• Complete required safety trainings and daily inspections.
