Job summary

Western States Equipment in Lewiston, ID seeks a dedicated Yard Operations & Inventory colleague to manage daily logistics for receiving, staging, and shipping equipment and attachments. You will use inventory software to track location and condition, inspect gear for damage, and assist the rental department as needed.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED.
• One year operating or certification in construction equipment preferred.
• Six months inventory and logistics experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to communicate in English (speak, read, write).

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day yard logistics for receiving, staging, and shipping equipment and attachments.
• Report equipment availability and location using inventory software (Dynamics AX, CAT Inspect, Return to Ready).
• Inspect new/used equipment for damage and fuel levels; assist rental dept as needed.
• Oversee steam cleaning area safety and cleanliness.
• Respond to client, employee, and vendor inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with Store Manager and departments to maintain yard operations.
