Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Porter / Yard Worker to station and retrieve equipment on-site, maintaining equipment to meet specifications and inspecting gear before and after rental. The role emphasizes safety and teamwork, with potential growth into mechanic, driver, or customer service tracks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral).

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment on the site.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment as needed.
• Inspect equipment before and after rental for damage.
