Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Porter / Yard Worker to station and retrieve equipment, maintain a maintenance schedule, and inspect gear before and after rental to document losses or damage. The Yard Associate supports safety-focused operations on site and may advance into mechanic, driver or customer service roles.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, some experience with common tools, and basic math/communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment on the location's property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment as needed.
• Inspect equipment before and after rental and document any loss or damage.
