Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Yard Driver in Denver, CO to maneuver tractor-trailers and straight trucks in tight spaces and tough conditions. You will hook and unhook trailers, move equipment around the yard, and position units for loading and unloading freight.

The role requires safe driving, adherence to regulations, and ability to perform pre-trip inspections. Shift runs from 2pm to 12am, with competitive pay and standard company benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License
• 1 year of commercial driving experience
• Must be able to maneuver a straight truck or tractor-trailer in difficult conditions

Responsibilities

• Operate straight truck or tractor-trailer safely in yard and road conditions.
• Hook/unhook trailers; manage landing gear and fifth wheel operations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain driving records as required.
