Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Yard Driver for the D Shift in Texarkana. The role involves safe handling of Tyson trucks and trailers, following plant policies, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment. Starting pay is $19.10/hr with a $2.00 shift premium.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and some experience driving heavy equipment or trucks. Willingness to work early/late and pass the yard/lot driver assessment is required.

• Must communicate effectively to receive work orders over radio and report issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; 6 months experience with heavy equipment/trucks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently handle Tyson trucks and customer trailers according to policies.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and log daily activities as required.
• May operate frontend loader, forklift or related equipment and obtain certification as needed.
