Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Fort Smith Yard Driver for 2nd shift. You will back trailers from the dock, operate yard trucks, and assist in loading/unloading while following safety procedures.

The role requires attendance on a 2nd shift with potential Saturday work in a fast-paced plant environment. Qualifications include 1 year of yard truck experience, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record with no DUI/DWI in the past year.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience using a yard truck to back trailers to and from loading/unloading docks.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid state driver’s license.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 12 months; clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Back trailers into docks and remove as needed to support loading/unloading.
• Operate yard truck safely and follow Tyson policies and procedures.
• Set reefers and inspect equipment; report leaks or defects.
• Communicate with drivers professionally and follow operations instructions.
• Perform pre-shift checks and refuel as needed; maintain cleanliness of shuttle truck.
• Complete additional tasks and any duties assigned by management.
