Central Network Retail Group, LLC in Sumner, WA is seeking Yard Associates to provide friendly customer service, handle merchandise, and support loading/unloading from trucks. The role includes operating forklifts, stocking the yard, and assisting with contractor deliveries.

The position is hourly, with responsibilities including loading, safety adherence, and helping customers with bulky items. Lifting up to 100 lbs and basic math are required; lumber/materials knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required; some delivery experience and ability to deal with the public.
• Must be able to lift and load up to 100 lbs and work at heights up to six feet.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers or contractors entering yard or warehouse.
• Operate forklift to merchandise and stock yard and warehouse.
• Assist truck drivers in delivery of merchandise to homes and job sites.
• Load materials into customers’ vehicles or on company delivery vehicles.
• Develop expertise related to forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
• Unload incoming freight without damage to goods or equipment.
• Prepare loads for delivery and verify type/quantity from POS system.
• Identify product shortages and report to store management.
• Maintain yard/warehouse in clean, orderly condition.
• Assist cashiers and other staff with customer needs at register.
• Support contractor sales counter functions as needed.
