Job summary

Master Halco in Bridgewater, Massachusetts is seeking a Yard Associate who will be responsible for accurately pulling orders, driving a forklift to load and unload products, and maintaining an organized yard.

The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting and be able to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule and a competitive wage with benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position.
• Ability to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60 lbs) on occasion.
• Forklift experience (sit-down) highly desired.

Overview

Master Halco Fence & Deck Supply, North America's leading manufacturer/distributor of fence and deck products, is seeking a Yard Associate at our branch office.

Responsibilities

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers
• 70% of the day: Drive forklift loading/unloading trailers; 30%: Manually sort and stage material in the yard
• Safely operate a forklift
• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner
• Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments
• Inbound material receiving and put away
• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately
• Pull and prepare orders, package for shipment
• Rotate yard stock and safely move materials using a forklift
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work with team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service
