Job summary

Master Halco Fence & Deck Supply, North Americas leading fence and deck products manufacturer/distributor, seeks a Yard Associate at our branch office. The role combines forklift operation, order pulling, and yard organization to support daily shipments and customer service.

You will load and unload trailers, sort and stage materials, maintain clean yard stock, and contribute to a fast-paced team focused on safety, accuracy, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers.
• Daily expectations 70% Drive forklift loading/unloading trailers. 30% Manually sorting and staging material in the yard.
• Safely use a forklift.
• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner.
• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position.
• Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60lbs) on occasion.
• Forklift experience (sitdown) highly desired.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions required.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Experience with building materials a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review order documents to prepare for product pulling for customers.
• Load and unload trailers using a forklift and/or manual handling.
• Sort and stage materials in the yard to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Maintain clean and organized yard stock and inventory.
• Pull and prepare customer orders and packaging for shipment.
• Assist inbound receiving and put-away of materials.
• Rotate yard stock and ensure safe forklift operation.
