Job summary

InProduction, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate in Glen Allen, VA to handle shipments, inspect products, load/unload trucks, and support on-site construction activities. The role requires basic tools knowledge, safety awareness, and occasional travel to US sites.

The position offers hourly pay with overtime, plus benefits including health coverage and retirement plans. A forklift license and valid driver’s license are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel occasionally to sites in the US.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Familiar with basic hand tools.
• Pay attention to detail and be familiar with industrial equipment.
• Able to read and understand safety instructions.
• Overtime availability.
• Forklift experience and license preferred.
• Experience with loading/unloading of trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically.
• Check products for defects and accuracy.
• Pull, pack and ship finished goods.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.
• Inspect machinery to determine repairs and perform maintenance.
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack to assigned places.
• Pull orders from shelves and place onto pallets.
• Communicate with managers to identify equipment in need of maintenance.
• Ensure safety measures are followed.
• Maintain tools and equipment at end of shift.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
• May assist on local job-sites (building/tearing down structures).
• Other duties as required.

Job Description

• Handle incoming and outgoing shipments by checking them physically
• Check products for defects and accuracy
• Pull, pack and ship finished goods
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and perform regular maintenance
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
• Pull orders from shelves, and then place and secure onto pallet
• Communicate with managers to identify equipment in need of maintenance
• Ensure appropriate safety measures are followed
• Make sure that tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained properly at the end of each shift
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
• May occasionally help on local job-sites (building and tearing down of structures and loading of trucks)
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• Be willing to travel occasionally to sites under construction in the US
• Pass background check and drug screening requirements
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred
• Familiar with basic hand tools
• Pay attention to detail and become familiar with industrial equipment
• Able to work overtime occasionally
• Able to read and understand safety instructions
• Forklift experience and license preferred
• Willing to complete forklift training preferred
• Experience with the loading and unloading of trucks preferred (flat-beds and/or trailers)
• Small engine repair and maintenance skills preferred but not required
• Stand continuously for long periods of time
• Able to repeatedly lift-up to 75Ibs

Required License Or Certification

• Forklift License Preferred
• Current Valid Drivers License

Education Requirements

• High school or equivalent

Compensation

• Starting $21- $24 hourly
• Overtime Pay
