Palo Alto Networks is seeking an Extended Expertise Consultant to help customers securely integrate and automate their cloud environments, leading the adoption of the Cortex XSOAR platform. You will serve as a trusted consultant guiding complex deployments and developing automation workflows.

Collaborating with SOC analysts to CISOs, you will translate complex security concepts into business terms, provide strategic guidance, and train customer teams to maximize value while shaping future cloud

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI.
• Must be able to work onsite at the Omaha, Nebraska office.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or security automation.
• Proven experience in technical implementation of security automation and developing XSOAR playbooks.
• Strong background in integrating security tools like EDR, SIEM, and threat intelligence platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementations of security automation within customer environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain XSOAR playbooks to automate incident response workflows.
• Integrate diverse security tools, including EDR, SIEM, and threat intelligence platforms, with XSOAR.
• Conduct detailed analysis of operational business processes to identify automation opportunities.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on complex cloud security systems.
• Prepare comprehensive capacity planning, deployment, and configuration guides.
• Translate complex technical information into business terms for C‑level executives.
• Train and empower customer teams to leverage security products effectively.
