Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking an Extended Expertise Consultant to lead security automation deployments, design XSOAR playbooks, and integrate EDR, SIEM, and threat intel tools for cloud environments.

You will guide complex deployments, train customer teams, and translate technical concepts for executives, while aligning with cross‑functional stakeholders across SOC teams and CISOs. A US Top Secret clearance is required, and onsite work in Omaha, Nebraska is expected.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI is required at the time of hire.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or security automation.
• Proven experience in technical implementation of security automation and developing XSOAR playbooks.
• Strong background in integrating security tools like EDR, SIEM, and threat intel platforms.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse audiences, from technical engineers to CISOs.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementations of security automation within customer environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain XSOAR playbooks to automate incident response workflows.
• Integrate diverse security tools, including EDR, SIEM, and threat intelligence platforms, with XSOAR.
• Conduct detailed analysis of operational business processes to identify automation opportunities.
