Jefferson Outpatient Imaging is seeking an experienced Diagnostic X-Ray Tech for a PRN position at outpatient imaging centers in Center City and South Philadelphia. Shifts range from 7am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekends or holidays. Free parking is available at both locations. Apply now for immediate consideration!

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the Diagnostic Imaging technologist:

• Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
• Ensures safety and compliance with guidelines and regulations.
• Works as part of the imaging team, providing and seeking feedback for improved practice.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 5 years as a Radiography Technologist.

Education

• Associate's Degree in Radiology or completion of an accredited two-year radiology program.

Licensing & Certification

• ARRT certification in Radiography, with current registration.
• State licensure as required.
• BLS certification within 60 days of hire.

Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency with radiographic and ancillary equipment.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Accurate documentation skills.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Computer skills including digital archiving and data retrieval.
