Job summary

Omnicell, Inc. in Columbus, IN is seeking an Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 to support the XR2 system, enabling more automated medication inventory management and patient-focused pharmacy services.

You will operate automation at customer sites, perform maintenance, manage inventory levels, document diligently, and communicate with customers to build strong relationships while following Omnicell SOPs and completing required training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Indiana State Pharmacy Technician Registration/License.
• Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician Certificate (PTCB/CPHT/EXCPT).

Responsibilities

• Operate Omnicell automation at customers' sites per SOPs.
• Perform return and restocking duties to optimize usage.
• Maintain formulary inventory levels for daily dispensing.
• Report unresolved issues to TAC and coordinate troubleshooting.
• Clean equipment daily and inspect robot cell for issues.
• Maintain proactive communication with the customer and pharmacy ops manager.
• Train and ensure completion of required documents and compliance.
