Staff Perm, LLC is seeking an experienced Xactimate Restoration Estimator to prepare residential fire and water restoration estimates from field documentation. This remote-leaning desk role focuses on turning measurements, logs and photos into precise Xactimate estimates and supplements.

Preferred candidates bring mitigation and reconstruction estimating experience, knowledge of construction materials, and IICRC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reconstruction/repair estimates from photographs, scopes and property measurements.
• Review insurance carrier Xactimate estimates and identify items to add or supplement.
• Prepare clear, supportable Xactimate supplements and revisions.
• Interpret HOVER or similar property measurement reports for estimating.
• Build or review Xactimate Sketches and quantities.
• Communicate with the NTR team when documentation or measurements are missing.
• Maintain accurate documentation supporting estimated and billed work.

Xactimate Restoration Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Xactimate Restoration Estimator to prepare residential fire and water restoration estimates from field documentation provided by the company's mitigation and restoration teams.

• The ideal candidate has experience with both mitigation and reconstruction estimating.
• Strong experience preparing mitigation estimates from dry logs, moisture readings, equipment logs and other field documentation is especially valuable.
• This is primarily a desk estimating position, not a field inspection role. The estimator will review photographs, measurements, scopes, moisture and drying documentation, equipment records, and existing carrier estimates and turn that information into accurate, well-supported Xactimate estimates and supplements.

What You Will Do

• Prepare accurate Xactimate estimates for residential fire and water restoration claims.
• Build mitigation estimates from dry logs, moisture readings, equipment records, photographs and field documentation.
• Prepare reconstruction/repair estimates from photographs, scopes and property measurements.
• Review insurance carrier Xactimate estimates and identify documented scope or line items that need to be added or supplemented.
• Prepare clear, supportable Xactimate supplements and revisions.
• Interpret HOVER or similar property measurement reports and use those measurements when estimating.
• Build or review Xactimate Sketches and quantities.
• Communicate with the NTR team when documentation or measurements are missing rather than guessing.
• Maintain accurate documentation supporting estimated and billed work.

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on Xactimate estimating experience.
• Residential property restoration or insurance restoration estimating experience.
• Experience preparing mitigation and/or reconstruction estimates.
• Ability to read field documentation, photos and measurements and translate the documented work into Xactimate.
• Working knowledge of residential construction materials and repair processes.
• Ability to work independently and produce accurate, well-documented estimates.

Strong preference will be given to candidates who can:

• Review drying/dry logs and equipment documentation and build the mitigation estimate from that information.
• Estimate both water mitigation and reconstruction.
• Estimate fire/smoke restoration losses.
• Review carrier estimates and prepare supplements.
• Work with HOVER measurements and Xactimate Sketch.
