Job summary

Staff Perm, LLC is seeking an Insurance Restoration Estimator to prepare detailed Xactimate estimates for residential fire and water restoration claims in the Dallas area. You will analyze field documentation, photographs and measurements to create accurate, well-supported estimates that comply with industry standards.

• Residential property restoration estimating experience.
• Ability to read field documentation, photos and measurements and translate to Xactimate.
• Experience preparing mitigation and reconstruction estimates.
• Knowledge of residential construction materials and repair processes.

• Interpret HOVER or similar property measurement reports for estimating.
• Build or review Xactimate Sketches and quantities.
• Communicate with the NTR team when documentation or measurements are missing.
• Maintain accurate documentation supporting estimated and billed work.

Seeking a knowledgeable Insurance Restoration Estimator to prepare detailed estimates for residential restoration projects, leveraging your insurance restoration expertise.

This role requires preparing Xactimate estimates for residential fire and water restoration claims by analyzing field documentation, photographs, measurements, and insurance carrier estimates. The estimator will ensure estimates are accurate, well-supported, and compliant with insurance restoration standards.

• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract with potential to convert full time
• PAY RATE: $45.00 hr
• LOCATION: Dallas, TX area preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate Xactimate estimates for residential fire and water restoration claims.
• Build mitigation estimates from dry logs, moisture readings, equipment records, photographs and field documentation.
• Prepare reconstruction/repair estimates from photographs, scopes and property measurements.
• Review insurance carrier Xactimate estimates and identify documented scope or line items that need to be added or supplemented.
• Prepare clear, supportable Xactimate supplements and revisions.
• Interpret HOVER or similar property measurement reports and use those measurements when estimating.
• Build or review Xactimate Sketches and quantities.
• Communicate with the NTR team when documentation or measurements are missing rather than guessing.
• Maintain accurate documentation supporting estimated and billed work.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Xactimate estimating experience.
• Residential property restoration or insurance restoration estimating experience.
• Experience preparing mitigation and/or reconstruction estimates.
• Ability to read field documentation, photos and measurements and translate the documented work into Xactimate.
• Working knowledge of residential construction materials and repair processes.
• Ability to work independently and produce accurate, well-documented estimates.

Preferred Qualifications

• IICRC WRT certification
• IICRC FSRT/SRT or AMRT certification
• Xactimate certification
• HOVER experience
• XactAnalysis / carrier portal experience
• Previous carrier, adjuster or TPA estimating/review experience
