Job summary

Staff Perm, LLC is seeking a dedicated Residential Fire and Water Restoration Estimator to deliver precise Xactimate estimates based on detailed field documentation. The role is desk-based, converting field data into well-supported restoration estimates, with potential to convert to full-time.

Location is the Dallas, TX area; pay rate is $45.00 per hour with benefits including weekly pay and medical/dental/vision/life.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Xactimate estimating experience.
• Residential property restoration or insurance restoration estimating experience.
• Experience preparing mitigation and/or reconstruction estimates.
• Ability to read field documentation, photos and measurements and translate the documented work into Xactimate.
• Working knowledge of residential construction materials and repair processes.
• Ability to work independently and produce accurate, well-documented estimates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate Xactimate estimates for residential fire and water restoration claims.
• Build mitigation estimates from dry logs, moisture readings, equipment records, photographs and field documentation.
• Prepare reconstruction/repair estimates from photographs, scopes and property measurements.
• Review insurance carrier Xactimate estimates and identify documented scope or line items that need to be added or supplemented.
• Prepare clear, supportable Xactimate supplements and revisions.
• Interpret HOVER or similar property measurement reports and use those measurements when estimating.
• Build or review Xactimate Sketches and quantities.
• Communicate with the NTR team when documentation or measurements are missing rather than guessing.
• Maintain accurate documentation supporting estimated and billed work.

We are looking for a dedicated Residential Fire and Water Restoration Estimator to join our team and deliver precise estimates based on detailed field documentation.

This position involves preparing accurate estimates for residential fire and water restoration claims by reviewing photographs, measurements, scopes, moisture and drying documentation, and equipment records. The role is primarily desk-based, focusing on converting field data into well-supported restoration estimates.

• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contract with potential to convert full time

• IICRC FSRT/SRT or AMRT certification

• Previous carrier, adjuster or TPA estimating/review experience
