Job summary

SERVPRO of Annapolis/Severna Park is hiring an experienced Xactimate Mitigation Estimator to join our office team. This in-office role focuses on building accurate mitigation estimates and invoices from field documentation, working closely with Crew Chiefs and Project Managers.

You’ll review DryBook data, coordinate questions, and ensure timely invoicing. Salary ranges from $65,000 to $78,000, with opportunities to grow based on Xactimate and restoration experience.

Qualifications

• Xactimate experience strongly preferred.
• Restoration or insurance estimating experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Write mitigation estimates and invoices in Xactimate.
• Review DryBook scopes, photos, measurements and job documentation.
• Work directly with Crew Chiefs when additional information or clarification is needed.
• Work with Project Managers on technical questions, larger losses or unusual scopes.
• Make sure all completed work is properly captured and billed.
• Catch missing or incorrect line items before invoices are sent.
• Handle estimate revisions and supplements.
• Respond to estimate-related questions from carriers and customers.
• Keep files organized and moving.
• Help get completed mitigation jobs invoiced within 24–48 hours.
• Identify recurring documentation issues and improve them with the team.

Xactimate Mitigation Estimator – Restoration (In Office)

SERVPRO of Annapolis/Severna Park is looking for an experienced Xactimate Mitigation Estimator to join our office team.

This is an in-office position and is not a sales role or a position where you’ll be driving around all day doing field estimates.

Our mitigation crews document the work they perform in the field using DryBook, including photos, measurements, equipment and Xactimate line items. Your job will be to take that information and build accurate mitigation estimates and invoices in Xactimate.

You’ll work closely with our Crew Chiefs and Project Managers. If something in a file doesn’t make sense, you’ll be expected to pick up the phone, ask questions and get the information you need to complete the estimate correctly.

As you become familiar with our process, the goal is for you to handle routine mitigation estimates independently and only involve a Project Manager when there is a technical or scope question.

What We’re Looking For

• Xactimate experience strongly preferred
• Restoration, water mitigation, insurance estimating or construction estimating experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable reviewing photos and documentation and understanding work performed
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable calling field employees and asking questions when something is missing
• Organized and able to handle multiple files at once
• Able to work independently without letting files sit
• Comfortable working in a busy restoration office

Position Details

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

In-office position

$65,000–$78,000 per year, depending on Xactimate and restoration experience

This could be a good fit for someone who knows restoration and Xactimate but would rather spend more time estimating and less time driving from job to job.

We are an established SERVPRO operation with a busy mitigation department and are looking for someone who can become a reliable part of the estimating and billing process.
