Job summary

Baptist Health Urgent Care is seeking experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Techs to join our team in Hot Springs, AR. The role focuses on performing x-ray testing, maintaining equipment, and assisting with Medical Assistant duties in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The position requires ARRT radiology certification or AR state X-ray license, BLS certification, and prior Medical Assistant experience is preferred. Full-time with rotating 36-40 hour weeks and occasional weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT radiology certification or state license in radiography.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage flow from waiting area to exam room.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients to next steps in treatment.
• Assist with procedures supervised by the provider and perform radiology procedures.
• Document patient information, vitals, history, medications, allergies and other pertinent data.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols for radiation protection and shielding.
