Job summary

Bright Light Medical Imaging in Bedford Park, IL seeks a PRN X‑Ray Technologist to join our imaging team on Saturdays. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic radiographic exams, ensure patient safety, and support CT/advanced imaging as needed. On‑site, Saturday hours 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Requirements include ARRT (Radiography), Illinois licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, completion of an accredited radiologic technology program, CPR-BLS, and strong patient care skills.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered (Radiography) required.
• Illinois state licensure as Radiologic Technologist required.
• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• CPR-BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams per physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain imaging quality and follow department protocols.
• Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup.
• IV placement and contrast administration preferred (for CT/advanced imaging).
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Position Summary

X‑ray Technologist

Bedford Park is seeking a PRN‑Saturdays X‑Ray Technologist to join our imaging team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in general radiography and preferably trained in IV placement and contrast administration. This role supports a fast‑paced clinical environment and requires strong patient care, communication, and technical imaging skills.

Location: On‑site Bedford Park

Position: X‑ray Technologist (PRN)

Days/Hours: Saturdays, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
• Maintain proper imaging quality and follow departmental protocols
• Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup
• IV placement and contrast administration preferred (for CT/advanced imaging support)
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards
