Bright Light Medical Imaging in Bedford Park, IL is seeking an X-ray Technologist (PRN) to perform diagnostic radiographic exams, ensure patient safety, and maintain imaging quality according to department protocols. The role requires ARRT registration or equivalent, Illinois licensure, graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program and CPR-BLS.

Prior outpatient or hospital imaging experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CPR-BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain proper imaging quality and follow departmental protocols.
• Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup.
• IV placement and contrast administration preferred (for CT/advanced imaging support).
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards.

Days/Hours

Saturdays, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders


• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures


• Maintain proper imaging quality and follow departmental protocols


• Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup


• IV placement and contrast administration preferred (for CT/advanced imaging support)


• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
