Job summary

Bright Light Medical Imaging in Bedford Park, IL is seeking a PRN X-ray Technologist for Saturdays to join our imaging team. The role emphasizes general radiography with preference for IV placement and contrast administration support, strong patient care, and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Required: ARRT Registration in Radiography, Illinois licensure, graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, and CPR-BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered (Radiography) or equivalent.
• Illinois state licensure required.
• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• CPR-BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in accordance with physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain proper imaging quality and follow departmental protocols.
• Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup.
• IV placement and contrast administration preferred (for CT/advanced imaging support).
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards.
