Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology required.
• New York State Radiologic Technology License required.
• NYS Radiologic Tech Permit accepted in lieu of NYS license.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations independently per department protocols and physician orders.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Review images for technical quality and completeness; transmit to PACS/EMR.
• Maintain imaging equipment, QC checks, and ensure radiology safety according to ALARA principles.
