Job summary

Envision Imaging in Texas is seeking a Full-Time X-ray technologist to join our outpatient team. The role involves performing diagnostic X-ray procedures, adjusting equipment, and positioning patients to obtain high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.

Applicants should have ARRT certification and Radiography (R) registry, CPR, and a state license if applicable. The position pays $27.29–$35.18 per hour, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a benefits package including 401k, ESOP, PTO,

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ experience in X-Ray
• Ability to educate patients on procedures
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provide instructions for the procedure to obtain the best possible image.
• Reviews patient charts for missed information and/or consent; screens patients for implants, allergies, etc.
• Obtains prior films/exams and performs high quality scans for Radiologist interpretation.
• Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and after exam and notifies if condition changes.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and inspects equipment; reports quality concerns or deficiencies.
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding departmental concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
