North Star Diagnostic Imaging in Denton, TX is seeking a compassionate X-Ray Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic radiographs in a busy outpatient imaging center, with opportunities to cross-train into CT or MRI. Qualifications

• Current Texas MRT General certification (Limited and Non-Certified not applicable)
• ARRT (R) certification
• Current CPR certification (preferred)
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established protocols.
• Verify patient identity, review orders, and obtain relevant patient history.
• Position patients to ensure comfort, safety, and optimal image quality.
• Educate patients about their exam and address questions for an exceptional experience.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in RIS/PACS/EMR.
• Maintain imaging equipment safety and daily quality control procedures.
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, HIPAA, OSHA, and procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring providers to ensure patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain competency.
• Cross-train into CT or MRI as opportunities arise.
• Support departmental workflow and other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our team in Denton, Texas. This is a full-time opportunity in a busy outpatient imaging center where you'll perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations while providing exceptional patient care. This position also offers an excellent opportunity to cross-train into CT or MRI for motivated candidates looking to expand their skills.

Requirements

• Current Texas Medical Board (MRT)General certification (Limited and Non-Certified not applicable)
