Job summary

Envision Imaging in Arlington, TX seeks a PRN X-Ray Technologist to join our outpatient team. Performs diagnostic X-ray procedures, adjusts equipment, positions patients and submits images for radiologist interpretation.

The role requires ARRT certification, CPR, and at least two years of X-ray experience. You will educate patients, maintain equipment and coordinate with radiology staff.

Qualifications

• Two+ years’ experience in X-ray procedures.
• Educate patients on procedures being performed.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment.
• Commitment to exceeding company and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Interviews patients to obtain medical history and explains the procedure.
• Reviews charts for missing information and consent, screens for implants/contrast allergies.
• Obtains prior films and performs high-quality scans for radiologist interpretation.
• Performs exams while monitoring patient care and notifies if conditions change.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and inspects equipment, reports issues promptly.
• Interfaces with Lead Technologist and Center/Area Manager on concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
