Job summary

Envision Imaging is seeking a part-time X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The position runs Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with pay range $27.29 - $35.18 per hour.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostic X-Ray procedures, ensuring proper exposure, and assisting physicians with contrast media and tomographic exams. Candidates should be detail-oriented, team-focused and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ experience in X-Ray.
• Able to educate patients on procedures.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
• Navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
• Excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Exceed company and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Interface with patient to ascertain medical history and provide instructions and explanation of the procedure to obtain the best image.
• Review patient charts for missed information and implants; screen for allergies, etc.
• Obtain prior films and perform high-quality scans for Radiologist interpretation.
• Coordinate scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintain and inspect equipment; report quality concerns or deficiencies.
• Transfer images to other locations as needed; assist with image accessibility.
