Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient care standards.
• Ability to ensure image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Follows HIPAA compliance and RIS/PACS workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations independently per physician orders.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images and minimize exposure.
• Adjust technical factors to ensure image quality and safety.
• Use markers, shielding, immobilization devices, and positioning aids appropriately.
• Produce digital images and hard copies when required.
• Review images for quality before PACS/EMR submission.
• Follow radiographic requisition instructions.
