Job summary

NYU Langone Hospitals in New York presents an exciting X-Ray Technologist - Bellevue opportunity. The successful candidate performs medically prescribed diagnostic radiographic procedures in line with departmental protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging, patient safety, and exceptional patient care.

You will work with RIS/PACS, verify patient identity, maintain imaging equipment, and uphold ALARA and HIPAA requirements while supporting clinical and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Radiologic Technology License.
• New York State Radiologic Technology Permit can be accepted in lieu of license.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations independently as per physician orders.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain optimal images while minimizing exposure.
• Select and adjust technical factors to ensure image quality and patient safety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and dignity throughout procedures.
• Transmit images and reports accurately to PACS/EMR and verify patient information in RIS.

Education

New York State Radiologic Technology License

New York State Radiologic Technology Permit can be accepted in lieu of NYS License
