Job summary

Patient First in Maryland is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform x-ray exams with correct positioning and radiation exposure, while following safety procedures for patients, staff, and self.

The role requires ARRT registration or completion of a Limited Radiologic Technologist program, high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong communication. Salary ranges from $32.00 to $37.00 per hour, with benefits including 401(k), paid leave, and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum typing experience.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• ARRT registered or graduate of an approved Limited Radiologic Technologist program; licensed if required by state.
• Ability to hear pages/bells/phone system; good visual and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays with correct position and radiation exposure.
• Assist physicians, extenders, and nurses with patient care and triage.
• File and maintain x-ray paperwork; document and communicate results.
• Restock supplies and keep treatment area clean; participate in training and meetings.
• Supervise externs and Radiologic Technologist Assistants when performing exams.
