The role includes labeling and documenting X-ray copies, managing X-ray equipment, and maintaining related paperwork in a fast-paced medical center.

Requirements include ARRT registration, Maryland radiographer license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Keyboarding experience required.
• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• ARRT registration and Maryland license to practice as a Radiographer are required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays using correct position and exposure.
• Implement safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure.
• Create and document x-ray copies per guidelines; label images correctly.
• Operate and understand x-ray and processing equipment and the bell system.
• Maintain x-ray paperwork and ensure patient safety with equipment.
• Restock supplies and maintain work area per OSHA guidelines.
• Attend training and staff meetings; be available as needed for patient care.
• Operate and maintain medical and office equipment as trained.
