Job summary

Patient First in Glen Burnie, MD is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality x-ray imaging while adhering to safety procedures to protect patients and staff.

The role supports physicians, extenders, and nurses during patient care, handles documentation, and may supervise externs and assistants on duty. Requires ARRT registration or approved Limited RT program and state licensing if applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ARRT registered or graduate of an approved Limited Radiologic Technologist program; licensed if required.
• Able to hear pages, bells, and phone system; good visual, verbal, and written communication.
• Licensure as required by state.
• Ability to hear pages, bells, and phone system.
• Adequate visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (4–6 hours).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality x-rays using correct position and exposure.
• Implement safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Assist physicians, extenders, and nurses with patient care and treatments.
• Document x-ray procedures and maintain x-ray paperwork.
• Supervise externs and Radiologic Technologist Assistants in the room.
• File and maintain x-ray paperwork; manage records.
• Restock x-ray and treatment area supplies; perform cleaning.
• Participate in training and on‑the‑job learning with externs.
• Supervise externs and assistants during exams.
• Be available to support center operations and respond to duties as needed.
