Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an X-ray Technologist to obtain diagnostic radiographic examinations and support patient care within a clinical radiology setting.

The ideal candidate will have an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT certification, and NJ license, with strong written and verbal communication and proficient computer skills to operate imaging and record-keeping systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology graduate.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).
• ARRT certification required.
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology required.
• AHA BLS Provider within 60 days of starting.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
