Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant with radiology responsibilities to perform x-ray procedures and related patient care. The role includes preparing rooms, developing films, and supporting clinical and front-desk duties as part of a busy urgent care team.

The position is full-time with rotating 36-40 hour weeks, including 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend, with PRN opportunities. Relevant licensure and certification are required or preferred as noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guide them to the next step in treatment.
• Record vital signs, weight, and medical history accurately.
• Assist with radiology procedures and patient transfers.
• Ensure proper operation and safety of radiology equipment.
• Complete required documentation for each patient visit.
• Support front desk with check-in/out procedures when needed.
