Urgent Team in Knoxville, TN, is seeking a Medical Assistant with radiology duties. The role involves x-ray testing, preparing rooms, and assisting providers with procedures, while maintaining patient safety and accurate documentation.

Full-time schedule includes 12-hour shifts on weekdays with every-other weekend; PRN options available. Requirements include a TN X-ray license and BLS, with ARRT certification preferred; prior MA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification.
• TN State X-Ray License.
• ARRT Certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly in waiting areas and exam rooms.
• Communicate wait times and guide to the next step in treatment.
• Assist with patient transfers and documentation of visits.
• Obtain vital signs, weight, brief history, allergies, and medications.
• Perform radiology procedures and ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
