Overview:
At Fast Pace Urgent Care, X-Ray Techs provide essential clinical and administrative support for effective patient care under supervision. They deliver outstanding patient service, maintain a compassionate atmosphere, and respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and imaging needs. The Tech will also ensure effective communication and customer service for all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all responsibilities of Nurse/Clinical Tech and Patient Care Specialist roles as per specific job descriptions.
  • Provide clinical and administrative support, monitor and track x-ray orders, assist with patient positioning, ensure compliance with regulations (including HIPAA), review images, and send for over-read.
  • Label images correctly, ensure image quality, address minor equipment issues, and maintain equipment and room cleanliness.
  • Manage pregnancy forms, triage patients, perform blood draws, injections, and basic nursing tasks as applicable.
  • Monitor radiation badges, wear radiation monitors, and complete mandatory compliance training.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, support training, and foster positive relationships with staff and patients.

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Current active ARRT License and State License (if applicable).
  • TB and IV Certification required within 60 days of employment if applicable.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licensing and Experience Levels: The role requires varying levels of experience and certification, from entry-level with 1+ years of experience to advanced levels with over 7 years, including specific training in ultrasound, casting, and ultrasound procedures. Additional responsibilities include handling increased patient volume, establishing proficiency in ortho-glass techniques, and performing ultrasound procedures.
