Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an X-ray Technologist to obtain diagnostic radiographic examinations and support patient care in our Radiology department.

Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, New Jersey Diagnostic Radiology license, and BLS/HCP or equivalent within 60 days. Strong communication and computer skills are encouraged.

The X-ray Technologist is responsible for obtaining diagnostic radiographic examinations.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
