Job summary

The X-Ray Technologist at Touchstone Medical Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, performs high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures in our Richardson, TX outpatient center, ensuring patient safety and comfort while delivering exceptional imaging results.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus and opportunities for career growth through the Technologist Advancement Academy (TAA). Benefits include health coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) registered or registry-eligible.
• State licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered and per protocols.
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients.
• Verify patient information and orders for accuracy.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and front office staff.
• Keep exam rooms clean and organized.

Position Summary

The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
