The Touchstone Medical Imaging outpatient imaging center in Austin and Round Rock is seeking a FLOAT X-Ray Technologist to join our team. This full-time position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and requires providing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) registered or registry-eligible.
• State licensure as required.
• Current BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, fluoroscopy and bone density in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

This is a full-time position Monday-Friday floating to our Austin and Round Rock facilities.

Position Summary

The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, fluoroscopy and bone density in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
