Job summary

North Star Diagnostic Imaging, LLC in Prosper, Texas seeks a compassionate X-Ray Technologist for a full-time outpatient role. You will perform diagnostic X-ray exams, ensure accuracy and patient safety, and collaborate with radiologists and staff. There is an opportunity to cross-train into CT or MRI for motivated candidates.

Expected to provide excellent patient care and maintain documentation in RIS/PACS/EMR. The position operates Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no weekends or on-call.

Qualifications

• Texas MRT General certification required (Limited and Non-Certified not applicable).
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations according to established protocols.
• Verify patient identity, review physician orders, and obtain appropriate patient history.
• Prepare and position patients while ensuring comfort, safety, and image quality.
• Educate patients about their exam and answer questions to provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in RIS/PACS and EMR systems.
• Perform daily quality control procedures and ensure imaging equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, infection control policies, HIPAA, OSHA, and company procedures.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, referring providers, and fellow team members to provide outstanding patient care.
• Participate in continuing education and maintain professional competency.
• Cross-train into CT or MRI as opportunities become available.
• Assist with departmental workflow and other duties as assigned.

North Star Diagnostic Imaging is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused X-Ray Technologist to join our team in Prosper, Texas. This is a full-time opportunity in a busy outpatient imaging center where you'll perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations while providing exceptional patient care. This position also offers an excellent opportunity to cross-train into CT or MRI for motivated candidates looking to expand their skills.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends or on‑call

Requirements

• Current Texas Medical Board (MRT) General certification (Limited and Non-Certified not applicable)
• ARRT (R) certification
