Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, is seeking a patient-focused X-Ray Technologist for our outpatient imaging center in Austin, TX. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures, prioritize patient comfort, and ensure safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm at our 38th Street facility. We offer a sign-on bonus, weekly pay options, and career growth through our Technologist Advancement Academy, with competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (R) registered (or registry-eligible, if applicable)
• State licensure as required
• Current BLS certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain equipment functionality and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas

Position Summary
