Job summary

OrthoAtlanta in Newnan, GA, is seeking a qualified X-ray Technician for on-site, full-time radiology support in a leading orthopedic practice.

Operate imaging modalities, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with a clinical team to deliver high-quality diagnostic images. YYYY

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (preferred or eligible).
• 1+ year of experience as an X-ray Technician (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures clearly, address concerns, and ensure patients are positioned correctly for musculoskeletal imaging.
• Operate X‑ray equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues.
• Apply proper immobilization techniques and follow established safety protocols at all times.
• Perform routine checks on X‑ray equipment and adhere to quality control standards.
• Monitor and restock X‑ray supplies as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Record procedures and imaging results accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record system.
