The X Ray Limited Scope & Medical Support Specialist performs routine x-ray, medical, and testing procedures under direct supervision of the treating clinician as well as supports in other areas of the facility as needed including registration and referral management. This role requires efficient and accurate delivery of patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality clinical care and an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, assist with positioning, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images, following safety regulations.
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper documentation and quality assurance procedures.
• Perform DOT and Non-DOT drug and alcohol testing, prepare patients for physical exams, and assist with medical procedures.
• Handle clerical tasks, maintain supplies, and ensure a clean, organized facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State-approved Limited Scope Technician certification and license, if applicable.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• At least six months of medical assistant experience and familiarity with X-ray procedures.
• Knowledge of occupational medicine requirements preferred.

Skills and Competencies

• Customer service, professionalism, confidentiality, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and maintain accurate documentation.

This position is part-time, entry-level, and pays between $22.00 and $32.00 hourly depending on experience and location.
