Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth I is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team.

Radiology Technologist at Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth I:
  • Performs the described duties in the primary work area and demonstrate competency in orthopedic radiology, pediatric radiology, operating room radiology, outpatient radiology, operate the C‑arm, operate Mini C‑arm.
  • Performs a variety of technical tasks involved in operating x‑ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body as specified by a physician; adjust equipment for proper exposure, voltage, and current in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures.
  • Determines, prepares and sets up medical supplies, instruments and equipment; positions patients for each anatomical view specified using immobilization and protective devices as required; reports any changes in patient condition to attending medical staff.
  • Records amount and type of film exposed; labels film with identifying information; sorts as required.
  • Consults with lead x‑ray tech and radiologist to ensure compliance with established standards of quality.
  • Processes film in accordance with standardized procedures and maintains assigned work area in a clean and orderly condition.
