Job summary

Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth I is seeking a Radiology Technologist to contribute across orthopedic, pediatric, OR, and outpatient radiology. The role involves operating C-arm equipment, ensuring exposure safety, and collaborating with radiologists to meet quality standards.

Candidate should be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with AART registration and CPR current. Prior management experience is not required but may be preferred in this growing facility.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
  • AART Registered and CPR current.
  • Minimum 2 years of radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographs of designated body areas as directed by physician.
  • Adjust exposure, voltage and current following safety procedures.
  • Position patients with immobilization and protective devices as required.
  • Record film exposure and label with identifying information.
  • Consult with lead radiology tech and radiologist to ensure quality.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and handle film processing as required.

Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth I **** is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team!!

Radiology Technologist at Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth I:
  • Performs the described duties in the primary work area and demonstrate competency in the following: orthopedic radiology, pediatric radiology, operating room Radiology, outpatient Radiology, Operate the C-arm, Operate Mini C-arm.
  • Performs a variety of technical tasks involved in operating x ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body as specified by physician; adjust equipment for proper exposure, voltage and current in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures.
  • Determines, prepares and sets up medical supplies, instruments and equipment; positions patients for each anatomical view specified using immobilization and protective devices as required; reports any changes in patient condition to attending medical staff.
  • Records amount and type of film exposed; label film with identifying information; sort as required.
  • Consults with lead x-ray tech and radiologist to ensure compliance with established standards of quality.
  • Processes film in accordance with standardized procedures and maintain assigned work area in clean and orderly condition.
